Why Take This Course?

The microchipping of dogs has been mandatory in Northern Ireland since 2012, and since April 2016 in England, Scotland and Wales. With mandatory microchipping now extended to cats (June 2024), staying up to date with the latest standards and procedures is crucial for veterinary nurses. This refresher course provides valuable theoretical knowledge to complement in-house training, ensuring you are fully prepared to implant and manage microchips effectively and in line with UK regulations.
