45 minute video - Certificated at 1 hour of CPD

Feline ageing is frequently underestimated, with many cats entering their senior years without structured monitoring or preventative support. This session explores the pivotal role of the veterinary nurse in championing healthy ageing from seven years onwards. Delegates will examine how nurse-led senior clinics, evidence-based owner education, and regular, structured health checks can enable earlier disease detection, improve quality of life, and strengthen the nurse–client relationship. Practical strategies will be shared to empower nurses to move from reactive care to proactive, preventative ageing management in the feline patient.
