By the end of this session, delegates will be able to:

  1. Define holistic care within the context of veterinary emergency and critical care.
  2. Describe the role of the veterinary nurse in holistic ECC practice.
  3. Identify supportive modalities appropriate for emergency and critical patients.
  4. Apply holistic principles to pain management, stress reduction, and patient-centred care.
  5. Recognise limitations and ethical considerations in holistic ECC nursing.
