45 minute video - Certificated at 1 hour of CPD
Promoting veterinary teams to employ an empathetic awareness of behaviours is an important aspect of veterinary care, particularly when nursing guinea pig patients and supporting their owners. Guinea pig body posture, vocalisation and responses to stimuli can help guide appropriate clinical approaches to maximising guinea pig welfare. This presentation will cover the following key learning points and help you to:
*Acknowledge normal behaviours specific to guinea pigs.
*Explore how to identify abnormal behaviours and what they indicate.
*Understanding why problem behaviours occur and clinical responses to prevent, minimise or potentially, eradicate them.
