52 minute video - Certificated at 1 hour of CPD

Improving our Feline Patients Hospital Journey: This presentation will firstly explore feline anatomy, behaviours and communications. It explores the different kinds of conditions we may see in practice and special considerations to ensure the best environment is given to our patients, treating them as individuals. We will be learning from ISFM’s stressor stacking advice and the importance of preparation and client communications. Feeding behaviours will be discussed as well as tips and tricks on feeling the anorexic feline patient. There will be a short introduction to feline pain scoring and how veterinary professionals recognise pain in order to broaden patient care assistants knowledge when approaching cats in the hospital.
